Cashew Crema

This is one of my go-to sauces for dips, pastas and spreads. It is simple to make and goes with many different dishes.


  • 1/4 shallot
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 cup of raw cashews
  • 1/2 fresh lemon
  • 1/2 tbsp of dried oregano
  • 3/4 cup of water
  • Sea Salt & Pepper


Soak the cashews overnight, rinse and add into a food processor along with other ingredients. Blend until smooth. Depending on what you are using this crema for, you can add more water to thin it out.

Makes roughly about 8 – 10 servings.
